libfreehand-dev software package provides Library for parsing the FreeHand file format structure -- development, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfreehand-dev
libfreehand-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfreehand-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfreehand-dev *
You will get with libfreehand-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
